A purpose-built case defines Vector’s
silhouette: seamless curves, integrated
lugs, 12.7mm with crystals (9.4mm
without), slim yet assured. A domed
sapphire lens arcs above, clear and
anti-reflective, drawing the eyes
inward. Carbon fiber—heat-forged
and CNC-carved from short
fibers—reveals natural cloud-veined grain, long favored in motorsport for
its lightness and strength. Matte steel
and titanium versions extend the
choice, understated and enduring.
DEPTH IN DETAIL
Drawing on subtle speedmeter cues,
the bezel anchors Vector’s face with
four bold numerals and selected
minute scales— an expressive
grammar, not a timing tool. Raised
numerals and coarse indices act as
visual punctuation. Layered tiers form
light and shadow: polished highlights
contrast with matte troughs treated
with micro-sandblasting and
fingerprint membrane. The steel
and titanium remain unplated to
preserve material tone and precise contrast.
SUSPENDED IN VIEW
Caliber CD-02X debuts as Vector’s
open-work heart, its Nivarox-type
balance spring steadying the beat so
motion reads as precise intent. A
transparent synthetic support cradles
the caliber within the case, producing
a floating field that clears sightlines
and lets gears perform without
obstruction. The suspended
arrangement invites calm attention
to time’s choreography.
FINISH IN RELIEF
A unique circular base plate carries an inherent scale: sixty gear-shaped teeth mark minute and second positions while printed indices and selective screws act as functional markers. Micro-sandblasted surfaces on the plate and bridges diffuse light; precise chamfers catch highlights. Stepped planes and polished rims create layered details and subtle contrast, turning motion into a disciplined visual rhythm."
