world for eons. The world reveals itself in all its majesty, a blue planet spinning gracefully in the vast expanse
of the universe. It's been a while since CIGA Design debuted a hybrid of the timepiece and Blue Planet, we
still endeavor to evolve an all-new understanding, that represents the idea of withness and eternity.

Though' the march of time may seem unstoppable,
there are things that endure, things that stand
the test of time and remind us of the beauty and
the mystery of existence.


Gold is one such thing unlikely to be overlooked,
a precious metal that has captivated the hearts
and minds of humanity for millennia.

From the ancient Greek myth of King Midas to
the Silk Road trade that facilitated the exchange
of gold and other precious commodities.

To the wealth of the Ghana Empire that was built on gold mining and trade,and to
the infamous California Gold Rush that drew prospectors from around the world in
search of riches, it is a symbol of wealth and power, of beauty and elegance, and
of the enduring nature of eternity.

With the debut of pure gold in the CIGA Design family, our goal for this model was to
create a fusion and bring together all the experience we have gained since the creation
of the brand in one watch. It was born to be striking, both technically and aesthetically,
with exceptional finishing. The upgraded material and masterful craftsmanship make the
Blue Planet · Gilded Age a very essence of elegance and sophistication which epitomizes
the creative style that is CIGA Design's hallmark.

A GILDED DIAL STANDS THE TEST OF TIME

Each gilded planet dial undergoes multiple intricate crafting processes. Stringent production standards
have resulted in an obsolescence rate of over 40%, causing nearly half of all dials produced to be scrapped.
CIGA Design provides the ultimate experience to all wearers with painstaking standards.

The initial engraving of the dial's contours is performed
using a CNC engraving machine with a 0.07 mm cutting
head at a high speed of 20,000 RPM. This process
takes a total of 18 hours to complete.

After the initial engraving is completed, the raw dial will
be coated with a corrosion-resistant black layer, a special
kind of ink to stabilize the follow-up electroplating
process and endure acid pickling.

The intricate details on the dial are produced by a sec-
ondary CNC engraving with a more precise 0.05 mm drill
at a high speed of 20,000 RPM. This process
takes a total of 6 hours to complete.

The layer of pure 24k gold on top is gilded upon after
the raw dial undergoes multi-layer electrode ion plating
(including zinc and nickel).

The intricate dial details crisp oceans, sprawling mountains, and pristine land, acting
as a constant reminder of what we all share and what we must preserve. The dial,
crafted with micro-craving and multi-layer gilding, reproduces the Earth in the same
continent-and-ocean ratio and depicts the real altitude of the terrain, The first application
of 24K gold on a CIGA Design watch, cranks it up a notch with a very essence of
elegance and sophistication, making this timepiece a symbol of the infinite potential
that lies within us all and a testament to the enduring nature of eternity.

CERAMIC CASE - AMARVEL TO BEHOLD

Take the best of Chinese and craftsmanship to form a refine ceramic case for a minimalist and otherworldly
desian. smooth & silky touch, resistance. and lightweicht. Every curve and anale is crafted to perfection,
a dynamic interplay between light and shadow on its lustrous finish, drawing the eye and creating a sense
of fluidity and motion that echoes the passage of time.

Powder preparation: The raw material for ceramic cases is zirconium oxide, which is processed into a fine powder.
Drying: The molded cases are then dried to remove any moisture and prepare them for the next step.
lnjectlon molding: The ceramic powder is then injected into a mold that has the desired shape of the watch case.
Sintering: The dried cases are placed in a furnace and heated to a very high temperature, typically around 1500°C.
This process takes 144 hours and causes the ceramic particles to fuse together and form a solid, dense material.

Machining: Once the sintered cases have cooled, they are machined to the final shape and size. This process in-volves cutting and grinding(partly done by handicraft) the ceramic material to achieve the desired surface finish.
Polishing: The final step involves polishing the ceramic cases. This process takes over 200 hours to deliver asmooth touch and a smooth touch and a tint of lasting shine

The universal history of the watch spans 800 years, evolving
constantly in both appearance and technology. Typically, the
hour hand rotates 30° while the minute hand rotates 360°.
The Series U Blue Planet debuts with a patented original
movement technology——Asynchronous Follow-up, inspired
by an ancient horological device named the sundial.

Indicate hours and minutes with only one hand.

When the hour hand rotates 30°, the minute hand rotates 390°. This innovative change
in the gear ratio of the traditional movement means the watch can indicate both the
hour and minute with a single pointer. The compass marker serves as the time pointer
working with the static hour dial and the dynamic minute dial to indicate the exact
time. This ingenious solution transforms the conventional way of time-telling
