CIGA DESIGN CENTRAL TOURBILLON WATCH
CHINESE ZODIAC YEAR OF THE HORSE

Built around the idea of Set in Motion in the Year of the Horse,
it brings together zodiac aesthetics, advanced mechanics,
and rare materials in one unified creation.
The sculpted 24K gilded horse stands at six o'clock,
anchoring the visual center of the dial.

Traditional Chinese line engraving draws from Clerical script,
shaping the horse in a vivid, dynamic form.
Diamonds trace the passage of time as floating hands,
uniting precise timekeeping with elevated value.
Through the contrast of moving diamonds and a steadfast gilded horse,
a vivid scene of Set in Motion takes shape,
holding shared expectations close, worn on the wrist.

TRACING TIME IN DIAMONDS

The dual diamonds are realized through a
suspended display, defining hours and minutes as
they glide along circular paths across the dial.
As the faceted diamonds move, motion itself
traces time, turning timekeeping into a visual
expression of value and flow. In contrast to the
steadfast gilded horse at six o’clock, motion and
stillness come into balance, expressing the idea
of Set in Motion, where fortune begins to turn.

GILDED HORSE
IN POISE

Drawing from the strokes of traditional Chinese
Clerical Script, the gilded 24K horse form is sculpted
with refined lines and placed as the visual focal point
at six o’clock, balancing the dial’s visual center. It
stands as a tangible expression of the Horse Year,
Set in Motion within the timepiece.

CENTRAL TOURBILLON
IN MOTION

A central tourbillon driven by the self-developed
manual-winding caliber CD-12-SI, defines the
mechanical core of the design. Rare in contemporary
watchmaking, this configuration reflects a disciplined
convergence of mechanical mastery and aesthetic
intent, giving form to the watch’s design language.

Distinct from classical tourbillons
placed at 6/12 o’clock, or on the
caseback, the central tourbillon brings
the dynamic beauty of mechanical
motion to the focus.

CENTRAL TOURBILLON
IN MOTION

The base plate features micro-
sandblasting, producing a matte tone that
defines a contemporary presence.
Chamfered edges add quiet definition,
sharpening the structure without excess.
Silver-white gears, finished with delicate
sun-ray brushing, introduce contrast via
restrained reflection. In balance, matte
surfaces and refined highlights resolve into
a minimalist style.

STRENGTH REFINED
IN TITANIUM

Crafted from Grade 5 titanium, the case balances
lightness with strength, a material valued in aerospace
engineering for its durability and corrosion resistance.
Finished with a black DLC coating and mirror-polished
surfaces, the 45.5 mm case presents a crisp, defined
presence on the wrist, composed with an Eastern sense
of balance.

PATINA REVEALED
IN TIME

Crafted from selected shell cordovan horsehide,
sourced exclusively from its densest layers. With
tightly aligned fibers and a naturally closed surface,
the leather maintains its structure as it ages. Over
time, the tone deepens and a subtle sheen
emerges, reflecting light with restraint-each mark
a quiet expression of wear, formed through time.
